About Our Class

Welcome Students! Here is some important information about our class:

1. Class meets from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Tuesday and Thursday in room 16 starting on September 9, 2014.
2. Please bring a dictionary in your language/English.
3. Please bring a three-ring binder because you get a lot of papers in class.
4. Our only required text is Perfect Phrases for ESL Conversation Skills by Diane Engelhardt ISBN 978-0-07-177027-9.  (I will have 15 copies available for discount purchase on the first day of class for $10.00.)
5. Free copies of the News for You ESL newspaper are provided in class and you will have free access to the http://newsforyouonline.com website to listen to the front page articles each week.
6. The class will focus on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and some writing skills.
7. You can register at the San Dieguito Union High School District office at 710 Encinitas Blvd., in Encinitas.  Office hours are: MON 10:00am - 6:30pm; TUES -THURS 8:00 am  - 4:30 pm; FRI 8:00am - 4:00pm.  The Adult Education Office is on the first floor.
